As each seller’s business and tax needs are unique, we encourage you to consult with your tax advisor to determine your tax obligations for states Amazon does not automatically collect sales tax.
If you use Amazon's Tax Calculation Service, we will follow your existing tax calculation service settings for states where marketplace tax collection is not automatic.
You can start Tax calculation registration and setup by:
- Accessing your Tax Settings under Settings > Tax Settings.
- Reviewing the Amazon Tax Methodology.
- Reviewing the available Product Tax Codes to assign during your setup.
After you review the information, continue to the "Set up your Tax Calculation Settings" page where you can:
- Assign a Default Product Tax Code (if you don’t assign a default, you must make individual item level assignments).
- Select the jurisdictions (state, county, city, or district) where calculations should be made or select an optional custom rate per state (jurisdiction rates are overridden).
- Provide a tax registration number for each state where you have selected calculations to be made.
- Select shipping and handling and gift wrap taxability settings (the default is set to taxable if the item is taxable).
- Complete a review of your setup.
- Save your changes or registration by reviewing and selecting the required acknowledgments.
For detailed steps and information about tax calculation settings, see the following Help page:

Product tax codes are required to make a calculation. If you select jurisdictions but don’t make a product tax code assignment at the item or default level, the calculation will be made with the non-taxable product tax code A_GEN_NOTAX.
其中有说到针对其中一些州会自动收取,另外我最在意的是
