I understand you would like to close your account.
Upon reviewing your account it cannot be closed at this moment yet due the following reasons:
- You have a balance on your account. Once your balance is $0.00, you can close your account. - You currently have inventory stored at one or more of our fulfilment centres. This inventory needs to be either returned to you or disposed of before your account can be closed. To create an inventory removal request, visit https://sellercentral.amazon.es/gp/help/201436560/?referral=A13C2NNNU70VX7_ABPT0SQBGXHRF - Amazon requires a waiting period of 90 days after your last order before you can close your account. You have had an order in the last 90 days, so your selling account cannot be closed at this time.
Once all those requirements have been met you will be able to close your account following these steps: go to Settings and click Account Info. In the Account Management section on the right hand side of the page, click Close Account. Fill in all the required fields and click Send to submit your request. We will then contact you for assistance.
Remember that in order to close your account you must keep in mind the following criteria:
- Fulfill any outstanding orders. - Wait 90 days after your last sale to ensure the A-to-z Guarantee claims period is honored. - Wait until you have a zero balance in your account (your next disbursement or charge date). - Resolve all of your transactions with buyers, including issuing any necessary refunds. - Confirm that your bank account information on file is up-to-date to receive a final payment. - Check your Performance notifications to make sure that all the reasons for your account's suspension have been resolved and your account is restored.
In order not to charge you any fees while you are trying to close your account, you can switch your account from a Professional to an Individual selling plan at any time. After you switch your plan:
– You will no longer be charged a monthly subscription fee – Items that you sell will be subject to individual selling plan fees
In addition, the following features will be unavailable:
– Use of feeds, spreadsheets and other tools to load inventory. – Order reports and order-related feeds. – Tax settings, sales tax calculation on orders and sales tax reports. – Eligibility to compete for listing placement in the Buy Box. – The ability to define your own delivery rates and service levels for non-BMVD items. – The ability to create promotions.
If you choose to switch to an Individual selling plan, it will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Until then, you will continue to have access to Professional selling plan features.
To switch to an Individual selling plan: 1. Under Settings, click Account Info. 2. Under Your Services, click Manage. 3. Click Downgrade. 4. Click Confirm Downgrade to switch your selling plan.
